Obvious call centre noise background noise as soon as I answered, with a delay before anyone responded. The caller had an extremely strong Asian/Indian accent and told me his name was Paul Simon (yeah, right!) calling from Norfolk County Council about a recent accident I d had. Some weirdo called me three times in eight days and left strange messages.

Called seven times in two minutes, I still didn t answer. Most likely Direct Legal as the number is similar to one of theirs that I blocked yesterday.

When I picked up the phone, they just said my name and hung up!

Received a call, couldn't take it, but caller never left message so I Checked BT 1471 later, which came up with 01752365182. Called the number back, kept ringing, no reply!

Although a Huddersfield code this number came up as an international call on my phone. HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS

Phoned me on my mobile about updating my life insurance, sounding like they knew what my policies were - which I don t have.

Had several calls from this number, answered them but nobody wanted to speak, then eventually one guy did and he explained he was calling me from The Financial services authority and he could wipe all my debt. I told him no thank you, I m not interested. He asks why? I told him I don t need to tell him why, can you please remove me from your system. He then told me to shut up!! Several times! I laughed and said yeah, alright mate! Go f*** yourself! Then he hung up! Absolute joke!

PPI company... they re probably as legit as any others but their documents are strewn with typos. I stupidly gave them a tiny bit of encouragement and now they won t leave me alone. Sometimes call from mobiles as they know people get used to the Manchester code...
