I've had multiple calls from this number and each time I pick up they put down. I blocked the number but still it gets through??

Called this morning just before 8.30 am. As the number was unrecognised it was allowed to go to the answering machine. The call was terminated almost immediately.

This caller said I had been involved in a car accident. I refused to speak and told them to call back later when my husband was home. My car has never been in an accident.

Kept on getting calls to my landline from this number. The caller keeps on asking for a Mr Clark. I have informed them many times that this person does not live at this address and to stop calling me. It is very frustrating when you keep on receiving these nuisance calls, especially when my number is ex-directory and I have registered it with TPS.

Woman called claiming to be from Amazon Prime stating £39 would be taken monthly from my bank account as subscription, must be a scam.

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

Called me awhile ago and I told them to do one so they contacted my elderly mother direct she is terrible memory problems the start of onset dementia they reduced her to tears threatening if she doesn?t pay now she?ll occur further bank charges I?m so so angry I had to rush to my mums and done 1471 when I tried to call it back it won?t connect. Got called in Ireland from this number. Cancelled my Sky TV subscription because of the sheer amount of crap on it, repeats of stuff that has been repeatedly repeated on a repeating basis. Usual shite that I saw years ago is still being repeated and programmes from last week repeated again the following week or even the next night. Rubbish. Anyway, got massaged with loads of offers and promises, the usual lines etc. Still said I was cancelling. Of course, it would help if the person on the other end
