This number called and I missed it. If you try and ring back, you get the number unobtainable tone. They can t be up to any good - avoid.

Scammers. Called saying they were from Auto Assist about my recent car accident and needed to confirm details. I don t drive and have never been in a car accident. Was later called by the same people on a different number as I just hung up after their spiel.

filthy people. Keep having to take my telephone socket out of wall so they can t get through - BUT NEITHER CAN ANYONE ELSE. Can t some agency stop them???

Just a nuisance call, it is a call centre who calls trying to sell insurance policy. I m ignoring 2/3 calls a day at least from this company. They ll get bored quickly.

Foreign sounding guy purporting to be from BT Openreach. Told me he'd detected slow internet speed on my Broadband. Asked me various networky questions which I deflected. Eventually, he realised he was being taken for a ride and accused me or wasting his time (!) A tirade of abuse followed and he called me an a****le, m*****f*****r and a few other expletives. At this point I started laughing which made him even more abusive. I said I would report him to Ofcom as such language is illegal in UK phone network.

Called three times in just over an hour, when my wife finally answered it and waited for someone to say something there was nothing until she said hello, they said hello back but very faintly, my wife hung up

They claim to be Vodafone but it isn t! I know this as a 100% guarantee. As a friend of mine works for the Police, and they checked the number out! It s people making out to be Vodafone, to scam people out of money and get bank details. My friend from the Police, has passed on this information to C.I.D, to sort it out, as they call me non stop up to 5 times a day. DO NOT ANSWER THEIR CALLS, AS ITS A DANGEROUS SCAM!

Chasing up debt.

Tried calling them back, went through to someone who obviously wasn't expecting calls in to them, sounded like a call centre. They hung up and didn't talk to me.

Told me they were sky and my warranty had expired . Never had sky . From India ?

This is a recorded message alegedly from the national data base. Numbers also use include 0165728754, 0139354235, 0144793757. I have blocked them all but a new one is generated....

A classic Boiler Room cold call scam. The caller claimed to be from a financial company offering investment opportunities to high net worth individuals. He would go away when I said "No"; so I hung up and blocked his number.

A indian man called "Michael" rang saying he was from my television company, and he was going to reduce my repair and maintenance insurance for my television from ?7 to ?5. He then checked my name and address and was going to transfer my to his manager to take my payment details! What a load of rubbish and a scam! Michael said I was selected in the area as I was a senior citizen! what a scam. I hung up, but please warn elderly friends or family. thank you.
