It seems this company is now acting on a new name of pre UK using the same telephone number. These arseholes are also calling my work place. Offering a job for a paralegal, not based in the area I live in and the bloke on the phone sounds like he works in a call center abroad.

Accidentally clicked their ad when trying to find Direct Line on the net. Realised half way through completing their form so closed the browser. 10 mins later phone call received. I hadn t even pressed submit!! Anyway, number blocked, won t be bothered by these chancers again.

Weird. When I answered, a recorded message said that the caller is unable to take your call. I don t know if it is genuine or a scam but I have never had this happen before.

I ve been called by this number 2 afternoons running - I let the answer-phone pick up yesterday but no-one spoke. I picked up today and after a long silent pause I hung up as it sounded like an autodialler at work.

This number seemed to be a crossed line as lady on the phone was talking to someone else although the other persons voice was muffled.

These crooks are called Ascend Finance and are buying local numbers so that you are duped into answering their call. Do not answer and report them to OFCOM.
