SCAM calls from APPBOX MEDIA

Claimed to be BT. But became offensive and said I don't know shit when I refused his nonsense!

Claimed to be Life Insurance company , knew my name asked about lifestyle changes in last five years and hung up.

Phoned 14th Sept at 13.23. No message. Number unknown to me. Don t know anyone in Cardiff!

Female caller, Indian accent, gave name something like Mindy, claimed to be from Talk Talk. Obviously long delays between exchanges, nothing like usual UK call quality.

Received a call, couldn't take it, but caller never left message so I Checked BT 1471 later, which came up with 01752365182. Called the number back, kept ringing, no reply!

Claimed to be from Carfone Warehouse, poor English spoken and when challenged as to why they were asking what mobile phone I had, they said, "Oh God ..." and hung up. ...

My mother-in-law has just found a charge for ?99.99 on her Barclays statement. I ve just spoken to the bank and they have been 100% helpful and have agreed to refund her ASAP. When mum-in-law initialy went into the bank to query the transaction they told her that it was a holiday company and assisted her to call them. NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a large charge on your bill.

Keeps calling 3times in a row

Surely to goodness someone, somewhere, has got to put a stop to this. Who is paying for all these claims? Us, in our high insurance costs of course. It is pissing me off, big time. Stop phoning me - I was not hurt, but it is getting to the point where perhaps I should claim just to stop these calls. Two bleeding years I have been fending off these damned nuisance calls.
