I called the number back got through to a recorded voicemail advising it was not a sales call, it was a market researcher working on behalf of EE - I am an EE customer so seems legit.

Who is this calling my mobile. Is this a company or a private number?????

Said he was from Carphone Warehouse, not had any dealings with them so most likely a scam

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Despite being registered with the TPS getting repeated calls from this number, finally pressed option 2 to try and speak to then to get the number removed was promptly laughed at and hung up on when I asked then to stop calling! Absolutely furious !!!!

Missed call and they supposedly left a voicemail (but didn t). Assume this was yet another PPI call. Argghhh!
