Another scam HMRC call

Received a "silent" call from this number this afternoon.

NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a large charge on your bill.

Natasha from "Excellent Advice" company regarding a car accident. Might not be a person, sounded automated voice response. Hung up when I asked for company details.

Had about 10 missed calls, hence looks up number and of course cold caller

Threatening scam call with taped message. Blocked caller. UNPLEASANT.

Just silent then hung up.

I'm a very busy person and don't have time for bs's like this. Please block the number and any others like it. Thank you.

The line dropped the moment I answered the call. They called me on my Italian number

This Asian prat, after asking me my name said in a thick Paki accent. "I have not rung to tell you anything" So I said in that case **** Off and put the phone down. But I was right; this cretin is from Londonistan where 4 out of five residents are from foreign descent. I know of no one in London so why ring me if it s not to try and con money out of me. CANARY WHARF

The person calling from this number was clearly ringing from a call centre and had an Asian name which I didn t catch. He stated that the company name was MTA Solicitors and that he was calling about a recent car accident. This is clearly a scam call as I have not had a car accident.

Claimed to be a company called "Jeffrey Mason" going on about monies owed to me - They had my correct name though pronounced it incorrectly. Told them to quickly tell me what the call was about as I was in Critical Care and needed to keep my phone line free (which is kind of true, my mother WAS in Critical Care but now on a general ward) before I could finish what I was saying they hung up

Bunch of charletons asking to speak to my dead father about an accident he never had and asking if he is dead because of this accident, my Dad died of natural causes, no morales biggest bunch of w*****s who have ever disturbed my day. Place reserved specially in hell for those who work there.

Claimed I had an accident in the last 2.5 years and was entitled to compensation. Yeah right! I hadn t of course. I just found out today that you can report these muppets to www.ico.org.uk. If enough people report they can take action. Go for it people!
