this number constantly rings my landline but when i answer the caller cuts off. as soon as you ring back to tell them to stop it you are told by automated voice all lines are busy please wait then they cut you off. damned annoying they my our number but i cannot stop them who are they?

Don t fall for this. It s a scam originating mainly in USA. They work from old shareholder registers (sometimes so old the holder has long since sold the shares anyway...

Scatter-gun accident not your fault type thing. Robo dialer seems to have been improved from the usual one that calls me. I usually let the computer pass me to an operator and waste some of their time before hanging up.

Missed call, no answer machine message -- according to this thread it could be a harassment, so .. welcome to my blocked list.

When I answer this number they hang up I've now blocked this nuisance caller

Sitting at home, ill after being sent home from work, I receive a call from these clowns. Starts babbling on about how they can reduce my "debt" by 70% before I d even had the time to draw breath. I told the little gimp that I was registered with the TPS, he replied "I ll just check that". I replied "no need to check little boy I m telling you and I m also telling you to not call me again otherwise I ll report you". Parasitic nuisances how I wish I could send 50,000 volts down the receiver.

I am sick to death of the daily calls from this number all times of day no message left etc I have found out it is a sky number based in Cardiff but do not answer or call back getting really sick of it now need to find out how to block this number it s a nuisance especially as I am already with sky! Not by choice but automatically transferred from O2.

+447011127918- this number is recently very active on irish gumtree.ie. Guy is offering personal assistant job. paying 400e a week-without even meeting the aplicant. The bar doesnt exist in stated location. Number was used in a german car website fo "buying" a car with "Zertified Scheck"... Guy even introduces himself as the "succesful businesman" with "2 lovely children" as it has anything to do with personal assistance job :)

Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.

When I asked who was calling me they hung up. 5 calls this week.

First caller (Laura) very rude and insistent that I had reported a car accident which I hadn t. 2nd caller 5 minutes later (Elliot) was quite polite. Gave the address of the call centre as 34 Regents way Liverpool.

Indian women with family noise in background did not introduce herself and said "your computer department". Well we don t have a computer dept so told her to [email?protected] off. The people are no more than common thieves, but seem above the law.

Recorded message purporting to from BT indicating suspicious activity on line!

I m blocking it right now. They calls everyday and when I answer they hung up. Is it funny? or maybe is it a fraud?

The calls are scams. They originate from Asia using spoofed numbers. Use your telephone provider's call-blocking service if they offer it.
