Calls my office work number a couple of times, every 3 or 4 weeks. I called them back on a withheld number and they told me they are an energy company. Personally I just think they're a cold caller.

Not sure it was this number, as we don't have caller ID. But had numerous calls from Asian Trader Magazine wanting to now my mothers maiden name, my primary school. 4 times they have rung now a different person each time. This number relates to an investment scam called GFA capital. They get you to deposit a small amount of money ($275) and they claim they invest it in crypto and produce huge results. In 5 days my $275 grew to $75000. WOW Then one of their senior investment managers calls you and shows you a bitcoin opportunity, invest $18000 and they will produce a $10000 return in 5 days. BULLSHIT. I requested a withdrawal from my pot and was told that I had to pay £12000 tax to release the funds. Dangerous scam

An Indian sounding gentleman on a very bad line, claimed to be calling me from Currys PCWorld with a promotion to upgrade my cellphone (his term) for no charge, could I just confirm what phone I currently had? As I do not have a mobile contract through Currys PCWorld I knew this was a scam call and hung up.

SCAM. An Asian sounding man who called himself Simon called me to say my washing machine warranty had run out. Seeing as our washing machine is about 15 or more years old I do not doubt it. I told him not to try and scam me as I had had these sort of calls before, and hung up. I have since blocked the number.
