Foreign speaking lady asked to speak to my father by name, informed her he died 16yrs ago. She continued talking about shares he had etc. I asked her to send me details and how she got my phone No. She said it wasn’t possibly because she has hundred of people on her books. Didn’t catch how she got my number, but she also knew my address. Think it is a scam. How low can they stoop.

02 Nov 2021 - An Indian guy rang my mobile from this number, knew my name. I asked where he was calling from but couldn’t understand what he said, put him on loudspeaker and asked again and no one in my office could understand what he said? I asked what it was regarding and he said the rent on my address and knew my address?? I said I don’t rent my house and he put the phone down on me??? I have received 2 computer generated messages about an Amazon account from this number. On the surface it appears to be a local number but I believe it is a scam.

SCAM - keep getting numerous calls everyday from this number and other numbers starting 0203 789 6xxx. They purport to be from Car Phone Warehouse and are ringing to improve my deal and upgrade my phone. When I ask them where they got my details from they say they are working in collaboration with my current provider. When I ask for verification, they change the subject and don't know anything about my current arrangements. Call the number back and the line is dead sol assume it is masked. AVOID
