Answered the phone to a nice woman (didn t catch the name of the company she worked for) who started asking if my phone was working then asking what phone I d got, then she was said my insurance at the moment for it is 9.99 (its not it s 11.99) and that they was going to drop the insurance down to 5.99 and that the excess was going to go from 50 to 25 and other deals then she started asking for my address postcode and my name and then my sort code for my bank account which I then hung up the phone and she

They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. The person calling from this number was clearly ringing from a call centre and had an Asian name which I didn t catch. He stated that the company name was MTA Solicitors and that he was calling about a recent car accident. This is clearly a scam call as I have not had a car accident.
