Was given number for Gotranscript Ltd. It was a help desk working from home. had no information about the company so probably a generic centre for a number of companies.
SCAM / SPAM This was an English speaking polite male telling me that the Government funded insulation in my loft could be causing damage to my property and he wanted to arrange a visit to examine it. Fortunately before the call went any further he mentioned the "foam insulation" and when I said it was not foam in my loft he rang off. OBVIOUSLY A SCAM. He didn't get round to asking for bank details but I am sure he would have it I hadn't realised what he was up to.
This company repeatedly calls me on both my mobile and my landline. I have asked them to stop calling but they keep doing it.

Called by a Welsh lady saying they were handing out free grants for loft insulation -- did I have loft insulation? I immediately smelt a rat & asked who was calling. SCAM 2 calls in an hour from the code 004721(Oslo) and no message left, says SCAM to me.
Had a call from this number today firstly on my mobile which I managed to reject. It immediately then rang my landline which I didn t answer. Who are these people and how did they get my mobile number? When you ring the number back they don t identify themselves and ask you to leave a message. Sounds very dodgy so be aware.
The PEST is: Domestic & General :( They are a cold-calling pest phishing for new Loft Insulation contracts. I have automated calls on a daily basis for 2 months now - 3 rings and they hang up - never leaving a message. I wish the government would provide the regulators with some teeth to prosecute all these highly persistent phone pests making MULTIPLE nuisance calls. I changed my number relatively recently to avoid this, and I m ex-directory and I ve "opted out" so they should check before they call.
