Got a call from this number stating that someone had put me as a emergency contact number, and they have had a car accident. I obviously called everyone i knew to make sure they were all alright, this seems to be a SCAM.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls - surveys, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438707xxx range... People don't fall for it. Did someone answer any number of this range?

Don't know what company they Are, they just ask for Jeff. I tell them to take my number off their system several times and the most recent time the guy on the phone started to argue with because I'm not Jeff and do not want my number on their system, absolutely ridiculous.
