Debt collector. Had been receiving calls daily. Finally answered and they asked for my address and dob! Hung up and did research on the company. Called them back as I didn t think I had any debts. Gave them my details, but they had my old address. Confirmed that. Chap with asian accent, calling from advantage at 17.55 hrs, he wanted me to confirm my name then answer questions, but then said I was under no obligation to do so (clearly), I said I would not answer any questions and said he was to not bother me again and I hung up. if this occurs again, I will not be so polite.

Scam pretending to be HMRC investigating tax fraud. Automated caller telling you to press option numbers otherwise a warrant will be issued for your arrest.
SCAM: Supposedly from HSBC Bank, TEXT message alleging " A payment was attempted from a NEW DEVICE on (date-time). If this was NOT YOU, please visit (web address)" that looked like an HSBC one. Trouble is I don't have any Bank accounts ????

SCAM Car accident claim scam pretending to be working in association with LV. I played along with this to extract as much info as possible to warrn others. They had a surprisingly and slightly worrying amount of information and data. It would seem there might be a source at LV for this that would know car details and driver details from 2 years ago. I know this as they referred to the principle owner who has passed away during that period and held the policy. I was a named driver during their period.

BT scam call source, the usual "fault with/unusual activity on your broadband" scam
SCAM. Probably from the same source as 1656737322, a call to my landline. The well spoken, but recorded voice, told me that two suspicious transactions had been noted on my account (no introduction as to who she represented) and that I should take one of two actions. Either press "1" to cancel them or "2" to speak to a service advisor. I left the call open for ten minutes but there was no further communication from the caller. Why Bridgend exchange? I have no idea.

Called saying I had been on an all inclusive holiday in the last few years. I ve never been on an all inclusive, and I only recently changed my mobile number. I asked where they got my number "we work with a number of third parties" was the only response I could get. Didn t even wait to find out what they wanted, asked to be removed from system and also blocked the number.
