01482596113 is apparently a funeral plan sales call. They got my number from an illegal downloading site. I wonder why they use such a site for marketing purposes. Don t they know that they could be prosecuted for aid & abetting fraud, theft & money laundering?

Everyone's saying this is from MyHeritage. I bought their DNA kit after reading, in a "Which" type comparative report, that they were the best. I paid my money (£49 + £12 p&p). Kit arrived from the USA, I returned the samples, had receipt acknowledged a few days later, waited the expected 4 weeks and got my ancestry analysis back. Two weeks later, got an email with a list of 107 DNA matches - potential relatives - but it stressed that some would be 'iffy' connections - 5th or 6th cousins sort of thing. I ha

Called to advise me that microsoft had put a virus on my computer, they asked for my bank details to give me a refund, i only gave part of this to them but i started to question why they were telling me my phone bill was also due. They have hacked my bank account and taken over ?300.00. Please do not answer the phone to these scammers. Learned my lesson playing on the vulnerable and elderly.

This was not a scam call. My car has a service yearly and this number follows up with a "how was the service" call a few days later. It was from the dealership which is a trusted one.
