This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers, phishing for bank account details). Unknown caller ringing a TPS registered domestic number. No message left. Probably an illicit sales call, a scammer or fraudster, but with no message left stating their business, I don't know.

Tried to establish the authenticity of this company, they are data mining, e.g. "may I start with your name please sir" etc... then trying to sell you some PPI Claim back from banks. Quick to hang up when questioned, of a dubious nature in my opinion.

Asian lady, who I couldn't understand, claiming to be from the government department claims advisory group. Apparently they had a cheque to send me for overpaid bank charges. Told her to send it to me, but she wanted my DOB. When challenged that surely they knew this as they had my name and number and address etc, then they must already have my DOB, she said it was for verification, at which point I thanked her for the call (it included a few expletives) and hung up. Do not engage with them.

A woman with a foreign accent rang on April 4th. She knew my name and said she was ringing to alert me that there were problems with my computer. When I quizzed her as to how she knew this she was vague and aggressive. I told her that I thought she was trying to scam me - the line immediately went dead. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM, THIS WOMAN IS TRYING TO CON PEOPLE!
