SCAM: Automated female voice saying it was my ‘internet provider’, and I had missed a call from them. (It’s not, and I haven’t because I’m here all the time!) Apparently there’s been some ‘illegal activity’ on my account, and my internet will be disconnected within 24-48 hours. Press 1 to speak to a technician. Utter Tosh.
Amy claimed be be from a domestic appliance insurance company and wanted me to renew my policy with them. I've never had such a policy for any of my domestic appliances. I suggested to Amy that she might consider earning an honest living instead of makingthese spam phone calls to innocent people. She she didn't understand me and hung up.

Then a man with an Indian accent spoke to me asking for my postcode and address. I foolishly gave it to him after which he hung up -this must be some sort of scam or attempted fraud

Had him going round in circles for 20 minutes before telling him my pc wasnt switched on. This number rang my mobile today. Caller was male, but the line very crackly, so I was unable to catch what they were saying.
