Called our TPS registered number claiming to be software suppliers and phishing for information. Obviously they don t play by the rules.
Automated call. Says some nonsense about avoiding the call will result in magistrates action then gives you a refererence number which is probably: 2019-2101-t9. It states it so quickly, I can't be sure if 100% correct. If it were important then it wouldn't be coming from a mobile! Either way, then says "press 1 to speak to an officer". I didn't.
SCAM robotic voice asking for immediate call back or else (...deleted).

Seems to be some call centre calling with fake PPI claims/ Industrial accidents/ worked in a noise environment, they have some database of phone numbers with basic details and then they just try, asking about accidents you have had (should have..) in the past, but it was nonsense in my case. Just a telemarketing... Blocking this number.

Telephone Preference Management have rung me twice today using 01863 300016 - very bad line (that's normally a Scottish Highlands code, but obviously Indian call centre). Asked if I was still getting unwanted calls, and said their system showed that my Debit Card expired in 2018. I said he was wrong, and he hung up.

Got a new number/ simcard yesterday. Used it to link to my broadband account and got the auto call this morning, It can only be through my broadband provider.
They said they were Customs and Excise and there was a lawsuit against me and asked to press one to speak to my case worker. It was an automated message. As they did not say who they wanted to speak to, I hung up and checked the number.

Usual scam call about a supposed "no fault" accident I d had recently. Strung him along for a minute before I ripped into him. Told him he was a scamming f****ing P*kki b*stard and I was going to rip his head off. After a minute of abuse from me he finally hung up. Don t be afraid to give these scammers as much abuse as possible as there is nothing they can do, and boy, it makes you feel good letting them know you know they re scum scammers!
