An Indian woman claimed I had called her but the line went dead so she called me back on her mobile. No she did not, she phoned from a landline. What type of scam is this?

They left a 2 minute 30 second voice mail of people talking in the background with a heavy accent that I could not place. (They forgot to hang up.) I did recently register a new phone number and domain name for my business.

Left long message on answering mach. Serious law suit against me unless I rang. Robotic voice, Americanized pronunciation & legal phrases. Did not specify name of myself or partner. Again Jennifer Coleman from HMRC. They would write to named person, cause of action letter, would never leave message as don t know who would pick up. Could scare people into ringing them back. Have had continual calls from this PPI company and now recognise the number so don t pick up.

Scottish Scammers. They use various names, usually "Green Deal Financing", usually talking about double glazing. They won t give out any identifying information and will hang up if questioned. I now keep a VERY loud dog whistle by my phone, whenever they call they are getting an ear full.

Unsolicited call - needs reporting! Reportedly "Nat West Branch Survey" - apparently in response to using local branch recently!!! I m ex-directory and registered with TPS. I also DON T have an account with Nat West - so have not used any of their branches !!!! - Annoyingly this call hijacked my phone s answer-machine and the call wouldn t disconnect until I held down all phone keys for 5 seconds!!! This number should be reported!!!

This number calls at least twice a day. Around the same time between 1pm and 2pm. The number isnt a number i know so i do not answer. They never leave a voucemail either.

Claimed to be a Michael from BT Telecom informing me that there was an issue with my router. I was suspicious of this caller as I had experienced no problems with by broadband or router. I terminated this call.

Silent call

Called by a trained chimp who could only loosely be defined as English speaking. Fool wanted to convice me that the call was from microsoft technical support. Advised them to go back to their own country where no one has a computer and where they might have more luck.

Called me repeatedly at random times throughout the day. When I answered there was no speech at all, just silence, this went on for about 5 seconds before I hung up and blocked the number from my phone!

Not a day goes by without a moron calling from this number and asking to speak to a Mr Green. The same person calls on a different number if you block the number they are calling from. They have called a number of times. They have either asked if I'm on the computer or just disconnected the call when I answer. It is usually a woman of Indian origin.

Boiler-room green "investment" scam. Do not give any information. Very agressive marketing until I insited that I never do any business with cold-calls. They eventually hung up on me when it was obvious I was on to them.
