Nasty pieces of work. It is nasty people from Unite, that so-called trade union who are notorious in the (TV and radio) news for selling out clients to 3rd parties, colluding with employers of their own membership, and selling s**t like stannah stair lifts, private health insurance, Unite s own credit card, enhanced legal services for divorces, deaths of kids and other stuff nobody asked for. They hang up, when challenged for their surnames and call centre location.
Didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message so presumably a scam.

Claimed to be from HMRC and about to issue a warrant - no way a genuine call
This number just rang my phone, I said hello, they then hung up on me. Agreed with Adam that they want you to phone them back. Found out that it is a charge of 45p-62p per minute to ring back. Also found out it is an individual not a company hoping you will phone him/her back and in doing so they will make him/herself a nice monthly income at your expense.
I keep getting calls from this number. Very annoying. Started registering every instance with the ICO (http://www.ico.org.uk/). Suggest you all do the same and help stop them! SCAM / SPAM purporting to be from HM Customs with investigation ongoing on my number I was supposed to press 1 for further info needless to say I hung up and put it on blocked caller list.
