SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. Said she was from Autodesk or AutoCAD and was looking to speak to accounts as license was due to expire. As we don't use Autocad i got suspicious, then she asked if she was speaking to a certain company, of which i didn't know. This may have been a genuine call where they phoned the wrong company or could have been a scam to try and get a payment. As Autodesk now use 3rd party account managers then you would normally know the person calling you and they would be using the correct names.
