The phone rang for about 2 seconds, before I could answer, they hung up. I googled the number, then got the results that it's been searched over 250 times, so it's obviously a scam. I've created a contact on my phone called "Don't answer", adding all these numbers into it.

This guy claimed to be from the Telephone Preference Service but I recognised his voice from 3 calls last week, during the last of which he told me to F*** Off because i called him out. Always a different landline phone number. I know a lot of STD codes as i have worked in (genuine) sales for 40 years. Different codes, different parts of the country, same voice claiming to be from BT Openreach. On this occasion, when he said he was from the TPS and just replied "And?" and he hung up.
