This caller said I had been involved in a car accident. I refused to speak and told them to call back later when my husband was home. My car has never been in an accident.
message begins "Barclays, Lloyds, TSB...". I have reported it to the Information Commissioners Office (IC0) at ico.org.cuk. I personally believe that these people should not be permitted to have these numbers unless they reveal their identity. Anyone who accepts goods or services from an unnamed company that cold calls them has got to be daft!

Furthermore one has had immense difficulty in logging in and being repeatedly thrown out. This appears to be the precursor to being hacked, even though there was no response by me. This telephone number keeps ringing and either hangs up straightaway or will ask for me by name then you hear others in the background making comments. Then the person hangs up. You are unable to return their call to speak to them
Came up as international then with an obvious spoof copycat area number. Glasgow isn t international if you are in Scotland. Not a problem- now blocked all international numbers using call blocker. Phone is on do not disturb 24/7 so if you aren t recognised then you don t get through. Heads I win, tails I win.
