Alleged NHS phone number for the immunisation management service. Spoke to a woman. Then I realised after having put the phone down that there is no way to check that I was actually speaking to a member of staff of the NHS. Too late! Apparently, according to recorded voice, the National Crime Agency are going to suspend my National Insurance number and arrest me. This is unlikely. This is the only one of 4 unknown calls from Vodafone numbers I have answered in the last couple of days but suspect all of the same ilk.

SCAM - Pretending to be Microsoft and they download Anydesk on your PC, run some commands and show you the "threats" on your PC. They then run something that shows banking details and they direct you to go to your online banking so they can assist in fixing your security with your banking. (I am in IT and an elderly customer got tricked by this).

We are NOT in any way associated to the people making these calls. They use our name as a cover. We have reported this to the relevant authorities on a number of occasions. There is, unfortunately, very little they can do.
