A rude, aggressive woman called Stephanie Holland rang me, from Metanoia Institute.

Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. Said she was calling from BT open reach about my internet being hacked. Said she would not ask for any personal or bank details. Asked if I had given my internet password to anyone outside my house. I kept asking her for her details but she then asked me if I had a mobile phone. I knew she was scamming and asked her to shut up for one moment and she then said and you shut up two and then she hung up. This would have been dangerous if I had let her download any app or software to my phone

About my Amazon account never had one

A call saying he is from Carphone warehouse trying to sell iPhone 13 for £20 a month. I spoke to carphone warehouse they can’t do that deal. ????

Researching this number I suspect it to be scammers who purport to work for Insulate Scotland. They claim to require access to your loft to inspect the air quality and insulation. Already on my blocked list after calling me a few times. SCAM

Texting to say they are at a cafe- definitely a scam

This number has called me twice today telling me there has been unusual activity on my bank card £300 from Amazon and a further payment of £1500 elsewhere This must be a scam number as checking with the bank there has been no activity and no pending activity i did not ring the numbers the caller advised me to

They claimed to be from my bank (VM money was Yorkshre Bank) to ask me about potential fraud on my card. (£52 on Argos in Aberdeen) I was supicious when they got agressive when I didn't know my banking paswword and I said I would have to call them back. I called the fraud number I have in my phone (0800 121 4251) and they confirmed it wasn't them that called me before. The chap on the actual fraud line also said that the real bank won't ask for any part of or all your internet banking password EVER!
