Automated call to start, saying that my subscription to Amazon will auto renew at £79, and to press 1 to talk to someone about cancelling, I don't pay subscription for Amazon, I was told that it was £79 a month and that I needed to get a cancellation code and fill out a form to cancel!!! I hung up.
Fraud Caller had a strong accent and spoke poor english. There was a lot of background noise as you would expect from a call centre. Asked to speak to my husband but did not mention his first name. Twice this week have had Indian ladies with strong accents with an offer for me from Sky as I am over 60 - which I am not. The first one argued with me about my age and slammed the phone down the second one insisted I hadn t received the first call but slammed the phone down when I said I was not over 60.
