I realize it’s greedy, but it can happen to anyone. SCAM - Unsolicited call stating they spoke to me ages ago and implied I'd agreed to sponsor books for local school. Very slick, found out where my child goes and said 'headmaster will call you yo thank you'......then start pressurising payment over the phone and calling back daily. More needs to be done to shut these types of scammer down!!!

Then starts to asks questions about the lights on router, who uses internet, even knew home address, at that point I hung up. I contacted BT - they do not have any such number listed in their network, also they confirmed no calls were made to line from themselves.

Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.
Fraud call. They said that they were calling from Santander Bank, they asked to speak to my husband who passed away 2 years ago. Informed Santander.

I told him I did not have a visa debit card and asked him to explain further. He hung up. Please be aware never to give any bank details out over the phone. If someone calls you about an unauthorised transaction they should already know all of the details. It is always best to hang up and phone the bank yoursel
