Called me today, knew my name. Started telling me that I was in debt and that they have a scheme blah blah blah, rambled on for ages and the finally asked if it was something I was interested in. To which I told him that I don't have any debt and it sounds like b*llsh*t to me. "so you have just wasted my time." was his comment and he hung up on me.
They say they are Wonecomb?? Working on behalf of BT. They hold the lines for large companies and charities e.g Cancer research and Haribos. Is this a scam??

Received a call from this number today, then decided to check out any reviews. The individual announced themselves as Alpine Group but having recently received a call from another similar number last week, I told the female caller to STOP THERE! then hung up. Persistent offender of harassment calls. Uncle Buck Finance LLC. They disguise their caller id using literally dozens of different numbers, all of which transfer to collections. It means you cannot easily use a call blocker to filter out these calls. But keep adding their numbers to your blocker, does help. When challenged to identify themselves, they state they are calling from UB. Ask for the full company name and corporation number, ICO number and FCA registration number for identification purposes.
