TV Guard called me today, offering to reduce 'my' monthly charge from £7 to £5. Caller claimed to be working "at the back of the Government" offering a nationwide service to everyone who owns a television. An unsolicited call from a company called MLS claiming you have been involved in minor road traffic accident in last 3 years.
I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. However, I would ask if these guys are from the collection department before going into a personal/private details. I have sort

These people have been calling us weekly for last 3 months asking for my partner by name about an accident claim . There has been no accident. A few weeks ago I told them I had looked them up on the internet and there are multiple reports of them harassing people for sales and to remove my number, the calls stopped for about 3 weeks but now they have started again! Going to have to have them blocked by tel co. It s the only way they will stop, should be reported for harassment
