A foreign sounding man introduced himself as John Parker and said I was due for refund of bank charges. I gave him my dob (I recently claimed charges and for a second thought it was genuine.)I would never give bank details and said so. I just said Lloyds bank(not true).He said his boss will phone me today. They called this morn and I didn t answer. Dreading the phone ringing now and worried giving my dob was a dangerous thing. He didn t swear but got more impatient as the call went on.

Discover Broadband called me on 07/08/2018 on 0161 768 5650 trying to get me to change from BT; When I asked where they got my name and number, she gave me some reply that as we are with BT they do a survey as a customer with our details; but didn t actually say where she got my details from. I would not give her my postcode or 1st line of address; I thought if she had name and number she could get that. She talked non-stop for 20 mins when I suggested for both our sake, she cut the call and ring me back

Whenever I register with one of those sites I always am careful to tick, or untick, any boxes that instruct them NOT to contact me. Haven t received any emails so somebody is selling my details on, or they are just B4stards!

Probably the usual scam to try and hack my computer and then chanrge me a fortune to solve the problem that the cretins have caused. Heavily accented asian voice which is typical as I ve had several calls of this nature in the past.

call from paddy to tell me i could get ?2500 if i had been ill on holiday

Called to advise me I needed a pension review. Incorrect and out of date information given by them, called using a number I ve never given out to anyone as its in a device with voice calls forwarded to my other phone. Divulged private details without authentication. Definitely sounds like a scam.
