Banking SCAM Claimed that there was suspicious activity on my Lloyds bank account, a £22,000 payment to Mohammed builders. Lloyds confirmed that it was an attempted scam.

Man with foreign accent called from this number claiming to be from Citizens Advice Bureau with regards to unsecured debts. I suspected that it was a scam call & going by the comments of others here I would appear to have been correct.

Silent call, I think the scam is for you to call them back at inflated call costs to call the number. No one ever answers you after you pick up but you can hear that there is some one on the other end of the line as they initially say hello. Deffo a scam!!!

It seems this company is now acting on a new name of pre UK using the same telephone number. These arseholes are also calling my work place. How are they still getting away with it after all these complaints???? Surely something permanent must be done to stop them!!!! I really need them to stop calling my work place as my boss is not happy and its a new job. What can I do that will actually work??

SCAM Recorded message if answered or voicemail if unanswered saying a financial fraud has taken place, an arrest warrant will be issued for you, press 1 to speak to someone etc The message is a computerised voice, the wording is choppy and basic.
Just had a call from this number. He asked to speak to the Company Director. When I said he was out and asked if I could help, he slurred/mumbled something about a Business Consultant and hung up. I didn t get either his name or the company name.
I don t like sales calls on my private mobile as it is, it s an intrusion and a waste of my time but when they lie about having information they don t to try to rope you into their offers, that really makes my blood boil. I have NEVER bought PPI, she also tried to tell me it might be from a loan or credit cards. I have never had loans or credit cards. Clutching at straws she then asked if I have a mortgage - well of course I do but I wasn t giving her anything! Clearly if they knew some "important" problem
I had a call from this number where a somewhat threatening female voice informed me that criminal charges were about to be brought against me. I'm a 74 year old female who, while maybe not quite fitting the description of an angel, has not committed any crimes, heinous or otherwise. Were I the type who was easily intimidated I might have pressed 1 to see further details but luckily I'm not so I didn't. I'd love to punch this so and so right in the kisser but that WOULD be criminal - but deserved!!
