The usual mid afternoon silent call, the distinctive mark and likeness of incompetent Indian scammers, nothing missed here for sure and that s without a single word being heard, even the number spoofing was a bit half assed although at least they got the format right for all that s worth.

ACCIDENT CLAIM NUMBER SAYING I HAB A BUMP 18 MONTHS AGO

I am registered with TPS and received an incoming call. The number is now blocked on my mobile, but they will simply change the incoming number to something else in a month or so. My list of blocked numbers is now around 40, a lot of those being duplicated by the same companies. They need to be regulated against, but when you can visit sites that provide a service telling you if a mobile phone is switched on or not (meaning that the mobile operators are selling this information) what hope do we have!?

These type of calls comes form solicitors who are living on peoples misery, bloody s**ms of the society.

Again say they produce activity books for disabled children and claimed they been in touch last year and it wasn t a good time for me then so calling now as would love to have me onboard. When I had no recollection of such a conversation & explained I was with a client she ploughed on with the fact that I d see a copy of my advert to proof before it went to print etc etc. I asked what company she thought she was phoning & she stated my company name that s only been in existence for 3months so story doesn t

It rang twice in less than a minute but as soon as I try to answer, the call dies.

"We understand you ve been in a car accident that was not your fault." I m assuming its just a scam call then.

Rang this back got an automated reply message asking me to hold on until the next available operator so its either a cold calling company trying to sell you something or offer you some service thats costs you either way ?

Answer phone. Hear some one mutter 3-4 words and hang up. Got better things to do with my time
