Silent call, I think the scam is for you to call them back at inflated call costs to call the number. No one ever answers you after you pick up but you can hear that there is some one on the other end of the line as they initially say hello. Deffo a scam!!!

Foreign sounding guy purporting to be from BT Openreach. Told me he'd detected slow internet speed on my Broadband. Asked me various networky questions which I deflected. Eventually, he realised he was being taken for a ride and accused me or wasting his time (!) A tirade of abuse followed and he called me an a****le, m*****f*****r and a few other expletives. At this point I started laughing which made him even more abusive. I said I would report him to Ofcom as such language is illegal in UK phone network.

Had a cold calI from this number today. I answered the phone, could hear voices in the background. Nobody replied and the line went dead after about 30 seconds. I rang the number back and found out that it belongs to Logic Guard Insurance. I told them that I am registered with the TPS and asked them to take my number off their database. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead.
