Over the last two weeks there have been a number of High Wycombe calls, which are trying to con you about Amazon prime, silence, or a annoying hiss. This particular call is an annoying hiss. I have collected about 16 numbers in this time period of the same ilk.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. 03726945413 Claiming to be from SKY asking if We’d shared our router information with anyone else (as we use NOW TV which is part of SKY I listened) and then they asked me how many lights were flashing on my router ( there was one light flashing and this made me suspicious so I hung up). It may be nothing but better to be safe.

Fraud received an automated call from Amazon Prime saying an amount of £79.99 was outstanding and to press 2 to talk to customer services. Pressed 2 and a foreign gentleman told me that I-needed to resolve this situation. I told him it was a scam, he refuted it, told him again it was a scam and he needed to get a better job, he lost it and called me a white honky dumb bitch and slammed the phone down on me. He’s obviously not having a good day. Lol !

Fraud. A recorded voice told me that my visa card was being used to purchase something in the region of £600. I was supposed to press '1' but the voice didn't say what for!! I tried calling the number but it doesn't exist. Beware!

Called about bitcoin, and said my number was associated with bitcoin purchase about 4 years ago. I did not even have this number that long ago. Sounded very shady, when I questioned what it was about they rushed to hang up saying that they would be in contact when they could prove it.
