Silent call, I think the scam is for you to call them back at inflated call costs to call the number. No one ever answers you after you pick up but you can hear that there is some one on the other end of the line as they initially say hello. Deffo a scam!!!

Had a cold calI from this number today. I answered the phone, could hear voices in the background. Nobody replied and the line went dead after about 30 seconds. I rang the number back and found out that it belongs to Logic Guard Insurance. I told them that I am registered with the TPS and asked them to take my number off their database. I also said that I will report them if they ring me again. I was told that my number would be removed from their phone list and I won t get any more calls from them. Let s

Receiving calls about boiler replacement every couple of days and I am now about to put it on my Truecall machine. The best ?100 I ever spent. I seldom get nuisance cals these days but as soon as I have time I Google them to check authenticity, then put them on the Truecall if not trusted. I am hard of hearing, most know this and I seldom get calls now unless important.

So far have had four calls from this number. The first call was asked to answer a few questions for a poll. Told him I did not do surveys and he put the phone down. Second and third calls were male who put the phone down when told I do not do surveys and please do not call again. Fourth call was female. I told her she was the fourth caller in two days, please take me off their list and don t call again. The call was immediately terminated. Am now waiting to see if there are any more calls.
SCAM - Claiming to be calling on behalf of EDF Energy, total gas and British gas to update records. I called EDF, they confirmed this is not their number. Fraud Telephoned 04/12/20. I gave no name when answering and they did not ask who I was. Young lady immediately started with "I understand that you have been in an accident which was not your fault". I have not had an accident and any reputable company would have identified who they were dealing with as a priority. Shut her down immediately and barred number.
