SCAM, it sounds like a rerouted Indian call centre, using a UK number, claiming to be a generic "internet security".
Would not tell me what they wanted, they said it was in regards to a debt but would not let me continue the call without giving them my full address which I refused obviously. Would not tell me the nature of the debt either.

Second call received from John at computer maintenance. First time when I told him that there wasn t a computer at this number he hung up, hoped this would deter further calls. But following day different time he phoned again told him that still didn t have computer and wanted to be taken off their database at which point he hung up. Waiting to see if they ring again.

Yet again repeated calls from a company offering me an energy saving solution even though I m in the TPS. Dam pests or a scaming company. Why would anybody wish to deal with a company who clearly and repeatedly flounts the UK regulations on this type of calling.
They rang us up claiming there was a money withdrawal from one of my parents' bank cards or £8000, even though after checking no withdrawals were made.

I was told they were from O2 and had an offer on for 30% off the next bill. I was being transferred to the bill department so put the phone down and straight away was called by another "fraudulent" number. I didn't answer.

Just received this call which said that I had installed something on my home phone number which was sounds or something. I put the phone down and did no more but this is not something I have requested and I think could be dangerous. AMAZON. The usual one about Amazon Prime. Your acct will be auto renewed for £79+. I don't have it so it can't. Get these scam calls all the time. They want you to press "1" so gawd knows what that does - link you into an expensive Ling Distance call or something. Someone is determined to get money from you, I don't fully understand how but they wouldn't be in this for nothing! I fail to understand why the police or BT can't DO something about it!!!

I am registered with TPS and would never consider buying from a company that refuses to respect that request for privacy. Apart from anything else, a lack of respect for the law in this one respect suggests they may be less than law abiding in others (e.g. building regulations!). Reports on other "nuisance call" sites confirm this firm is best avoided.

Do no agree to speak to these people they are con artists we record all their calls when they ring work and pas them onto our local police fraud department.

I don t know why they give out 0843 numbers because they all seem to be used for these types of premium rate scams. If you register for the non-existant prize draw you are charged huge sums for every message you get from them until all of your phone credit is gone.
