I was asked if I live in an industrial or noisy area that had affected my hearing. My reply.... " sorry I can t hear you!" and then put the phone down on them! Not the first call I ve had from this number. Another recent one was about playing the football pools! I asked her where she got my number as I am signed up to TPS, and she said she would make sure my number was taken off the list...she said that last time too...absolute trash these companies. Scam mobile number. After i made a flight booking through OPODO i immediately get a txt message saying my credit card was declined and i was to answer YES to stop future declined. Unfortunately i did reply YES. So this could mean they will use my number for future scam attempts. I already checked my phone for any malware (avg scan). Anything else i should do? (already checked bank account no dodgy transactions yet)

SCAM We have had 4 calls today supposedly from Amazon Prime, all from different numbers, but with 0153 dialing code. Recorded female voice. Something about being charged £79.99, and pressing 1 to speak to a service manager. We don't have Amazon Prime. 01538320737 We are ex directory, and with TPS.
This number has tried to call me for a few times and I did not want to pick the phone. Every call lasted about 10 seconds.
Automated message claim to be from Amazon (They NEVER call people) saying someone as purchased a £700 pound I-Phone, with an Amazon credit card. Do not respond, you can however check your Amazon account account on-line to give you piece of mind. Absolute scam of the highest order!
