Claimed to be our "local, government-appointed" energy consultants. Claimed fibreglass loft insulation can cause damp and mould and result in reduced energy efficiency. Had a call from a Wayne (over friendly in my opinion) about 4 items purchased prior to Christmas and asking if I d had to return any of the said items, then went on to talk about monthly payments and how I m now in control of what and when I pay. I told him two of the items had been paid for outright. All this information would be on my account, right?The call doesn t sit right with me so will be contacting the company about this call.
SCAM - The person contacts in order to buy things sold online. They ask for your IBAN number, the name of your bank, your address and then they sent a fake email saying that they have transferred money to your account. You just have to send the item and email the receipt to the provided email address and then your money will be transferred. Don't fall for the trick.
