I was called by someone calling himself "Yogi" allegedly from Carphone Warehouse and I renewed my contract through him with Vodafone. The incentive being a substantial cash back deal. The cheques never appeared and Vodafone do not know anything about the deal (so they say). Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal and I have reported them to trading standards and the communications commission as they are saying they cannot see on their system who renewed the contract. Fast talking wanted my free available B&B rooms to sell, does not allow you to talk just wants her questions answered, when she asked a private information question I started to say "No I cannot tell you that" well I got to the No and she said oke tnx and slammed the phone down on me(How rude). And then they wander why next time I get a sales person on the phone I will slam it down!! This way they will destroy telesales jobs.

Accident claims company. Scam. Claimed falsely to have information about an accident I d had. I ve blocked the number.

For the second time in two days, I received a call from this number, in each case the caller asked if I was the property owner, I went silent to extend the duration and cost of their call and eventually the callers hung up.

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

Claimed to be a company called "Jeffrey Mason" going on about monies owed to me - They had my correct name though pronounced it incorrectly. Told them to quickly tell me what the call was about as I was in Critical Care and needed to keep my phone line free (which is kind of true, my mother WAS in Critical Care but now on a general ward) before I could finish what I was saying they hung up

Mithering constantly and hang up when I answer so I ve had to ring them back to get them to remove me from their list, it ll either work or make it worse for me!!! I m being harassed 4-5 times a day every day by tons of different companies, I m getting sick of them now!!!
