Female, works with man who goes by pseudonym dennis wagner with email address at [email?protected] Caller claimed Mr. Wagner was her lawyer. Tried to bait me to give her lawyer my account information to give him a whopping 6000$ to set up contract with her to run her "business". She called me once from a number that contained the Nigerian country code 234. SCAM!!! She has Facebook texted (then closed Facebook account), then emailed me, then called me after I requested so. Most calls from her came from VOIP

I was called by someone calling himself "Yogi" allegedly from Carphone Warehouse and I renewed my contract through him with Vodafone. The incentive being a substantial cash back deal. The cheques never appeared and Vodafone do not know anything about the deal (so they say). Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal and I have reported them to trading standards and the communications commission as they are saying they cannot see on their system who renewed the contract. Had a call from a Leeds number. They said they were from Asset Claim Ltd and gave me their address, which I looked up online and there is a Asset Claim Ltd..BUT...the guy had my name and address inc postcode and said I was getting some PPI back and asked for my date of birth. I said I was not giving out my personal details and he started to get slightly irate. I also said I would not be giving out any bank details and he said I'm not asking for bank details, I need your date of birth. He cut me off. SCAM!

Received a couple of calls over the last two days from this number - missed calls on my mobile. Entered the number into search engine and found these comments - very useful. I too have just put details into Aviva and a short term car insurance cover company - and these calls started immediately - funny that! Now I ve seen comments - will just ignore number

Asked me to confirm details which I wasnt willing to do and then tried to sell me the old ppi speech said I wasnt interested and then hung up. Caller then decided to keep phoning me back to which I ignored 6 times I then added the number to autoblock and it was another 14 times. ignore this caller.

This number IS Fowlers Car Finance calling from their Stoke on Trent office. I made an application with them last year, then cancelled due to receiving very adverse comments and warnings about dealing with them regarding any finance deals. I recieve calls weekly still having called them to stop and e-mailed. I am now making a formal complaint to The FSO seeking compensation for Harassment, I would ask others to do the same and let these scum now they have been rumbled

Caller who sounded Indian said she was from the telephone preference service and calling to say it had expired as - she was just getting to this - the bank card used had expired. She first asked how the telephone bill was paid. As the service is free I rang off.
