Call arrived whilst I was in the republic of Moldova. I work with victims of child-trafficking in that region and my number is only used for emergencies from agencies relating to the subject. Consequently, I tried returning the call with several connections, but the call eventually dropped out. When I returned home discovered I still had to pay for the calls at a rate of GBP£1.27 per connection, plus the same cost for having answered the incoming call! Caveat Emptor!

HSBC - possible SCAM I received a text from this number as below "HSBC ALERT: Request for new payee MR C JONES has been made on your account. If this was NOT done by you visit hsbc.onlinehelp-securepayee.com./login"

Was phoning about my account which had been locked ages ago and asking if i wanted to unlock it.

One of a string of unwanted phone calls from a range of different numbers in the past two days. Left no message on the answerphone.

Told them they were breaking the law as I was signed up with TPS. Call reminated

Real nuisance,20 calls per day at all hours, unsolicited, a company based in ESHER where the A370 meets A244 (see map). No caller on the end just bleeps. Trying to put a stop to it now. might pop up and cut there phone line.
