Had a phone call from them and they seemed to know some of my personal details (well, as far as my phone number, name and 1st line of my address). I asked them who they were and got the response AAC and nothing more than that. The guy was very evasive and when I asked what the call was regarding was just told it was "sensitive information". I told him he had the wrong number and I hung up. I was involved in a car accident about a year ago so they may well have been ringing about that.

Claimed to be Amazon, saying I’d bought a gift card for £49.99 and they wanted to check this was correct, and if it wasn’t did I want to cancel the order. I said it wasn’t me and I’d like to cancel (but was already suspicious - who buys a gift card for £49.99, rather than £50?!), then they started asking about which device I’d like the refund processed via. When I asked more questions about my concerns that this was a scam call they hung up.

I told him, no thank you, I wasn't interested, he kept trying to talk over me and I hung up. A few seconds later he rang back asking why I hung up. I told him again I'm not interested in whatever it is. He answered back 'not interested in what' getting confrontational. I hung up again.
