Said that because they’d refunded an overpayment that my account may show in arrears and I may receive an automated letter due to this error. They will remove it but wanted to let me know that they may not be able to stop the letter. If they’re making this many calls for this reason they should probably just have sent an email to everyone!

Debt collector. Had been receiving calls daily. Finally answered and they asked for my address and dob! Hung up and did research on the company. Called them back as I didn t think I had any debts. Just had a call from this number, saying they were from the Debt Support Group and that I was due to reduce my outstanding payments on my debt!! When I told them that they were incorrect as I had no debt and I asked where they got my details from, they put the phone down. It really annoys me that these people have not got the decency to tell you where they received the information and give you the chance to ask them to remove your details from their database. Grrrrr!!!!

This Asian lady was asking for my debit card details saying that the card was due to expire (she had my name and address) and she wanted to know the new expiry date. I have not had any dealings with the above company for many years so was very suspicious. I put the phone down on her.
