Heavily accented man called about my router. Couldn't tell what he said his name was or his company but seeing other responses he could have been trying to say Talk Talk. Told him that I'm registered with the telephone preference service and put the phone down. I've since had four more calls within 5 minutes of the original call.
WE partner company. Blocked this 5 weeks ago and they are still trying to ring me between 5 and 8 times a day (earliest 6.11am latest 11.46pm)

I have been contacted twice by this number today. The first caller tried to engage me with PPI and when I told them to stop contacting me and remove me from their list they logged of. The second time about 1 hour on waited for me to answer then logged off.
Similar experience to "Patrick" above. Caller knew my name and asked (or rather "told me") if anyone at this address had been involved with the building trade in the "last since forever" (yes, those very words!) - no one has.

Seems to be some call centre calling with fake PPI claims/ Industrial accidents/ worked in a noise environment, they have some database of phone numbers with basic details and then they just try, asking about accidents you have had (should have..) in the past, but it was nonsense in my case. Just a telemarketing... Blocking this number.

Starts call advising it's not a sales call and there will be no charges but after 15 minutes he's presented me with prices for getting on the first page of Google. There's only so much room on the first page of Google so after 10 sales he is technically redundant. Hung up quickly when he realised I was not going to line his pockets.
