Text message received about an order from Argos, telling you to call the mobile number if isolating.
Apparently a company dealing with PPI Claims...only picked up call as it came from an area code I recognised as I used to live there...

SCAM. Probably from the same source as 1656737322, a call to my landline. The well spoken, but recorded voice, told me that two suspicious transactions had been noted on my account (no introduction as to who she represented) and that I should take one of two actions. Either press "1" to cancel them or "2" to speak to a service advisor. I left the call open for ten minutes but there was no further communication from the caller. Why Bridgend exchange? I have no idea.

Claim to be HMRC tax evasion and fraud team. nPhone behaviour is very different from real HMRC.
This number as been calling me for months so I decided to answer it they said they were reviewing my life in surance policy took some details off me then passed me to another person he didn t have a clue what he was talking about I got very suspicious of what he was saying so I ended the call not happy with the questions they were asking me be very careful with this number
Fraud, claiming to be from Sky. Asking if I would like to cancel my protection insurance for a one time fee of £65. When I pointed out that I don’t have Sky and enquired if this was another Indian call centre scam call the guy calmed me a MotherF****er and a C*** and several more expletives. A VERY Asian sounding DANIEL just called from 02082132170 claiming to be from "technical services"..... put the phone down on me when I commented he was no more a DANIEL than I was a MOHAMMED!!! Usual 5/6/7 second silence gap after answering the call to "DANIEL" introducing himself,,DEAD GIVEAWAY IN ITSELF!!!!!

Caller with English accent told me that my loft insulation was faulty and was causing condensation, but nothing to worry about. When asked he said he was from the UK Advisory Information Centre and they ran the Renewable Energy Database where my details had come from. When asked he said he was based in central London. I said central London was a big place and did he have a precise address at which point he terminated the call. The phone number was not recognised on a 1471. Obviously some scam to get

Holly Baldwin, Silvershine Services called my mobile today, asking about the accident I had just had. Asked where she got my number she said Road Traffic Accident Department which obviously is twaddle, or there own internal RTA department. When pressed repeatedly about the department she put the phone down. Shame, I was just getting warmed up.

SCAM - This number rang saying they were from Sky Security and tried to get me to change my router / wifi information. Nothing had been reported by me. Mentioned how someone was using a VPN to get access to my network. This is not how VPNs work. Would not give a number out. Used 1471 to find this and check to see if it was related to Sky. Apparently just another scam.
