recorded message says they are from visa and you have made a payment if this was not you please press 1 I have phoned visa because I did not make a payment THIS IS A SCAM NUMBER
The number was in an email which said it was from a friend (who I've not been in contact with for years) , asking for "help", but it was very much like another email I had just received from someone else saying he was a friend but that was spam. The number above was not one I recognised and when called simply asked callers to leave a message.

Apparently from Scottish Government in relation to Ipsos Mori survey, wanting to do a survey of my home. I don’t know the number so I’m not answering. If it’s that bloody important, LEAVE A MESSAGE AND I CAN PHONE YOU BACK!!!! Have called multiple times a day for over a week. It’s getting annoying.

Missed call Have had several calls from this number but have not answered them or they have been a missed call. I suspected this was a scam because my daughter phoned the number and a message said this number cannot receive calls.

SCAM - rang first from a London landline. Stating this is Scorpions and I have applied for a loan for £2000 with £99 monthly repayment over 24 months. Explained I haven’t. Began insulting me after he said I should stop wasting people’s time if I don’t need the loan. Politely asked to watch his tone. Started screaming “Shut Up! Shut Up!”. Hung up. Caller from this number said she was calling from Microsoft and that our computer was being hacked. Did not reply and put phone down to end call. Guess this was a fishing call.
I was always communicating via email. So last week I found out my package arrived at a post office in another town. When I called with tracking number I was told it was not registered under my name. I called today and sent a email but have not received any responses. Any suggestions?
