I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. SCAM 769256245 is the number dialled when I tried to voice call the sender of a Phishing scam text message claiming to be from "RoyalMail" which contained a dodgy link to arrange delivery of a fictional "Bezos Limited" parcel. The text was forwarded to NCSC Phishing Reports on 7726.
SCAM This started out as a text asking if i was Anna. They werent sure they had the right No. I said no it wasnt. They then initiated a conversation which soon led to them asking for personal info. They gave me this No, saying it was their company No and i could join their private Whatsapp so we could exchange photos. When I started asking about what they said was their home town, they stopped replying...unsurprisingly. The No they were texting from is a deffinate scam No, so this No is likely dangerous

2 weeks ago I answered and a lady with very little knowledge in englsih talked to me. She could not say the company name or anything. I told her to delete my cell phone number completely and said I wasn t interested at all in anything she could say. Despite this that number has called me in average 2-3 times a day... for 2 weeks.. Fraud Received a message from this number stating it’s from Vodaphone and that ‘we are unable to process your latest payment. In order to avoid fees please update your information via...’ then it gave a link to an https address (looked like Vodaphone but too much else to be valid, I think). I haven’t progressed this, I don’t have anything outstanding with Vodaphone, but just be aware. I will be forwarding this to Vodaphone’s phishing area.

This number was a representative from a Greenpeace call agency. I checked with Greenpeace to validate this call and they confirmed it. They were asking for a direct debit payment after acquiring my number from a petition I signed. The service was friendly and informative and not malicious unless you don't like charity pressure calling.
