The text message received from this number on 14/02/2024 at 12:13 simply read: "Got it (thumbs up emoji)" No other content and this number is not in my phone book nor was I expecting any messages like this from anyone. SCAM: received a text message, allegedly from my daughter, at 00.54 in the morning which was 'hello mum, this is my new number. My old phone no longer works. Can you send this number a message on Whatsapp? 07706376356.' So I did. I then checked with my daughter, who confirmed that she has not changed her phone number. I have phoned the number twice since; does not pick up but does go through to an anonymous voicemail.
Allegedly Vodafone ringing me to give me a 40% discount on my bill for 12 months. I don't use Vodafone. I use ASDA, so they use Vodafone as the signal, but I have no dealings or bills with Vodafone. So clearly a scam.

SCAM - calls to take card payments for advertising space that has never been taken do not pay them - offer 10% discount to pay today but there is no product? cannot send an invoice and when questioned he becomes rather angry and agitated said his name was James, very strong northern accent and we live down south on the coast so wouldn't be advertising near him anyway!

Had three uninvited calls from this unknown caller. I don't respond to such calls. If they are genuine they can leave me a voicemail (but they don't, of course!) and I can call back if I choose. Suspect it's a scam call so have blocked the number!
Received an automated call from this number today on my landline, saying there were 2 suspicious transactions on my card one on Amazon, and the other for a International Money Transfer. Press 1 to accept, or 2 to Talk. Suspect call, as mentioned no customer name or bank name, and usually the landline is not used for any such services. Nevertheless checked with Banks. No such information being processed.
