I didn't answer but they left a voicemail. It was an electronic voice which gave a string of numbers followed by "do not disregard this message as the matter at hand is time sensitive" then silence.
One ring, hung up. Will never answer such calls.

this number called to inform me by recorded message that my internet was about to be disconnected and was asked to press one of 2 digits on my phone keypad where I would be directed to discuss my options. I consider this is a scam which would then connect me to a premium phoneline. it is now blocked by my call protect and I advise anyone receiving a call from this or similar numbers with the same dialling code not to press any digit on their phone but hang up and block the number
Scam call. Supposedly from energy provider telling me that I needed a survey to see if my loft insulation needed replacing.

SCAM / SPAM automated message call from this number saying they were HMRC and I have been a victim of a fraud and need to press 1 now to be put through to an officer or face arrest myself.
I don't trust these results. All numbers come back as being from 3mobile and in Manchester....even my own, which is definitely not right.

i answered this number and the caller said he was from orange calling about my upgrade, I put him off and he called twice more. I talked about my upgrade, he new all my details and gave his opinion on suitable mobiles for me - even advising on my usage and a better phone for me because of it. Got this call today so looked it up on this site. One thing though - if it s clear pretty quickly that it s a cold caller that you don t want to speak to, just say "no" and put the phone down. No need for a polite conversation. No need for "no thank you very much". Just put the phone down. They are being extremely rude by intruding into your day so you allowed to be rude back by just hanging up straight away. Much easier for you.
