Scam Got a call twice and saying I have a tax refund
This number called and used the voice record (both in English and Chinese) claiming to be NHS. Saying that they noticed an unusual use related to my NHS number and that I should press 1 for English. I didn't follow the instruction anyway.
Call from supposed local exchange and when answerphone cut in automated message informed me money had been taken from my card and to press 1 to contact them. Obvious scam as have had identical message from various numbers over the past year.
Claimed to be BT. When challenged, hung up!
Sales - a subsidiary of BT. Not nuisance, but I blocked them trying to call me all the time. Too many attempts by them to get through. Blocked!
Called me, I answered pretty quickly and then the line went dead when I said, hello.

It is an automatic voice that claims to be from "your bank" saying it has suspicious activity - asking you to click a button to verify or speak to someone. I hung up. Safe number - a call from IT provider for the company I'm working with.
Call from a SCAM gardening & landscaping firm who send round a team (family members) who will not go away until paid large sums of money. My mother paid them nearly £600 for about an hourwork with a chainsaw cutting down healthy trees. They demanded payment in cash & took her to the bank to collect that. I reoprted the offenders to Greater Manchester police who refused to take action.
